Professor Aurakzai started his Paediatric career in 1987. He was a gold medallist and won President of Pakistan Award in his final year of his medical school. He has achieved multiple memberships and fellowships of many prestigious institutes over the years. He has a wide experience in Paediatrics which spans over almost 35 years. His main interest is in Neurodevelopmental disorders. Professor Aurakzai’s priority has always been his patients and he used to do regular evening and weekend clinics when he was working in the NHS. He always kept his patients his priority and used to do regular evening and weekends clinic when he was working in NHS. Now, he is in-charge to implement everything positive thing which he wished to do for his parents. His hobbies are photography and reading.

Sarah

Sarah is a Speech and Language Therapist registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and The Health Pro-fessionals Council (HCPC). Sarah has had over 15 years’ experience of working with Children and Adults with communication difficulties in a variety of settings including learning disability, Mental health and Autism in an assessment and treatment capacity. Sarah has completed training in the administration and coding of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- Version 2 (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic In-terview-Revised (ADI-R). Sarah has also successfully completed her accreditation training as a Registered Intermediary at The City Law School, City University in 2015. She has since completed short Post graduate Courses in Trauma, Autism, Mental Health and Vulnerable Children in the Justice System, Working with Defendants and Vulnerable Adults/Children in Family Courts. She provides training for Intermediaries for Justice on Working with pre–School Children in the Justice System. Sarah has one sporty and rapidly growing son who makes sure that she spends more time in the car than she would like to. When Sarah isn’t providing a taxi service for her son’s Cricket/rugby, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, skiing, and running.

Dr Conjivaram Vidya Shankar

MBBS, MD, MRCPCH(UK)

Dr Shankar graduated in 1988 and completed his MD Paediatrics in India. He has worked in different countries. He has been an active writer for patients internationally. He has a wide range of experience in general paediatrics. He has special interest in Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics and has had appropriate training mainly in ADHD and Autism. He speaks many languages and is keen learner of a new language. He is member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Dr Mohd Khairi Othman

Dr Othman is a passionate and dedicated Community Paediatrician who brings a wealth of experience to the realm of child healthcare. With an unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive support to young patients, Dr Othman stands as an expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and the management of neurodevelopmental conditions.

A distinguished graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Dr Othman continued his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom. With a remarkable 23-year tenure encompassing both acute and community paediatric settings, Dr Othman exemplifies a profound understanding of the diverse healthcare needs of children.

Demonstrating an adept utilisation of contemporary technology, Dr Othman maintains accurate medical records and employs innovative IT solutions, thereby ensuring seamless patient management and a commendable work efficiency that directly contributes to enhanced patient satisfaction. Of significant note is Dr Othman’s historical involvement in various neurodevelopment assessment teams across various region, including Birmingham, Nottingham, South Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and Weston-Super-Mare. His passion, dedication and competence have garnered consistent praise, establishing Dr Othman as an esteemed collaborator who is approachable and hardworking.

Lola Collishaw

Lola has been a practising occupational therapist for almost 15 years specialising in mental health and wellbeing. Lola graduated from Teesside University in 2011 and has a prior degree in history and religious studies, graduating from Lancaster University in 2009.  Lola also has an MSc in Psychology and plans to obtain a doctoral degree in this area. Lola primarily works from a psychology perspective specialising in coaching, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mentalization-based therapy (MBT) approaches for adolescents and adults diagnosed with Autism (formally Asperger's type) and ADHD. Lola has completed training in psychometric test use and is a registered test user with the British Psychological Society, in addition to training in the Autism Clinical Interview for Adults (ACIA), Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and Autism Diagnostic Schedule – version 2 (ADOS-2).  Lola has also developed post-diagnostic support services for adults diagnosed with Autism. Lola focuses on holistic approaches taking into consideration individual differences, personality factors and strengths to help people identify what they want to get out of life, and to feel more connected to themselves and the people around them.

Emma

Emma is a Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) and has worked in the NHS for many years and has extensive experience in Clinical/ Managerial Leadership practicing at Senior Level.
Emma works with Children and Adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions, specialising in Mental Health Neurodevelopmental difficulties and has a strong interest in Neurodiversity & Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). Emma is always respectful of individual needs, open and transparent, caring and compassionate when supporting people through their assessment and Post Diagnostic treatment. Delivering a holistic approach and empowering people through their individual journeys.
Emma can offer a variety of Services: Emma offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Emma offers Emotional Regulation work to young people with ASD and ADHD. She offers Relaxation sessions which include Mindfulness. She also offers Anxiety Management and Relaxation sessions which include Mindfulness (for neurodiverse young people).
