Your child will be seen by Professor Aurakzai, a highly experienced pediatrician who has been working with children since 1987. With nearly 25 years of expertise in Neurodevelopmental Pediatrics (including ADHD and Autism). 
Professor Aurakzai brings deep understanding, compassion, and proven excellence to every consultation. He is highly qualified, holding memberships and fellowships from many of the world’s most respected medical institutions. At our clinic, we believe every child is unique and so is their care. There’s no one-size-fits all approach. Your child will receive a personalized plan designed to meet their specific developmental, emotional, and medical needs. Referral Criteria and Appointment Pathway
Booking an Appointment
- We begin by getting parental consent and gathering basic details about your child.
- With your consent, we request a report from the school.
- Parents complete a questionnaire about their child’s development and specific concerns.
- Both parents and teachers complete psychometric tests.
- Your child will attend a 90–120-minute appointment with Professor Aurakzai.
- After the assessment, we’ll discuss the diagnosis and any treatment options

													- We start by obtaining parental consent and collecting your child’s basic details.
- With consent, we request a school report.
- Parents complete a developmental and concerns questionnaire.
- Both parents and teachers complete psychometric tests.
- Your child attends a 90–120-minute appointment with Professor Aurakzai.
- A follow-up 60–90-minute session is arranged with a speech therapist.
- We’ll then discuss the diagnosis and treatment options.

													Important tips for parents when booking an appointment with any clinic
- Make your detailed notes as you may forget during appointment.
- Make notes of developmental milestones (may need to look at the Redbook or family videos etc).
- Make sure that the provider (clinic) is regulated by CQC.
- Make sure that the provider can provide you a full range of services required for your child including prescribing medication and therapies/interventions.
- Make sure that the provider follows NICE guidelines (be aware of these).
- ADHD assessment should include developmental history, ADHD DSMV based history, validated psychometric test, school reports, QB testing etc, physical assessment (NICE guidelines).
- Autism assessment must include developmental history, ASD DSMV based history, validated psychometric test, school reports, ADI R, ADOS assessment (NICE guidelines).
- Physical assessment (face to face) to exclude any physical/medical cause which may present in a similar way.
